NOTE: All of the tracks done under the NEW FORMAT for the SAFER Barrier Project are distinguished by having an "_SBP" extension on the end of the track name. This way you will know that all the tracks with this extentsion are multiplayer compatible. If for some reason, you have compatibility issues, either the track you downloaded, or the track located on the server you're trying to connect to is not a genuine SAFER Barrier Project track.

[1] IMPORTANT -- BEFORE YOU INSTALL!!!

Because this track is more than a cosmetic update, and Sandbox was used in order to add new textures and 3d shapes, this track is not multiplayer compatible with the original Papyrus tracks.
This track is, however multiplayer compatible with exact copies of itself. YOUR SERVER MUST BE HOSTING THIS EXACT TRACK <las_vegas_night_SBP07> IN ORDER FOR YOU TO USE IT IN ONLINE PLAY.


[2] HOW TO INSTALL THE TRACK
====================================

After downloading the las_vegas_night_SBP07.exe file from the website, simply run the installer and follow the prompts.  The installer will automatically place the track into the NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\tracks directory by default.



[3] FEATURES
====================================
This track update was based on information from the Day version of this track. It also includes aspects from the 2007 Smith's 350 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. with that in mind, here is a list of the things that have been updated to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway track for NR2003 :


1) SAFER Barriers have been installed on the walls of the turns with appropriate signage on them. (The way the cars react when hitting the walls have been adjusted).

2) The entire track surface has been retextured in accordance with the new track surface, as of 2006.

3) New pit road geometry (closer to the grandstands) has been implemented.

4) The track has been made smoother with more grip applied as appropriate.

5) New custom setups for CUP and CTS physics have been provided.

6) Newer track condition lights are installed around the track.

7) Applied appropriate pitwall openings to provide full access to infield.

8) The infield has been totally renovated in accordance with the actual changes made for 2006-07
    
9) Some of the changes to infield include: All new media building and Neon garages..including victory lane.

10) Neon garages are made to be functionable.

11) Appropriate grass logos have been applied to the frontstretch.  

12) Union 76 logos and signage have been changed over to Sunoco as well as the NASCAR Cup logos to Nextel.

13) Working Whelen pit entry & exit lights are installed.

14) Cones have been added to entrance & exit of pit road.

15) Lines have been applied to outline pitboxes.

16) ALL NEW cameras have been applied.

17) The way the aircraft (i.e. blimp, helicopters) fly in the air have been editted. 


THIS VERSION IS A WORK-IN-PROGRESS. OTHER UPDATES WILL BE MADE WHEN THE APPROPRIATE TIME COMES.




[4] KNOWN ISSUES
====================================

Users on lower-end video cards or processors may experience a hit in frame rates due to the large amount of textures included in this track.

Multiplayer compatible ONLY with other unmodified copies of "las_vegas_night_SBP07" (See topic # 1 in this ReadMe).
